Who is responsible for your data

National Asbestos Removal Centre is run by Better Home Hub Ltd (company number 16605946, registered office Unit A, 82 James Carter Road, Mildenhall, Bury St. Edmunds, England, IP28 7DE). Better Home Hub Ltd is the controller of the personal data you give us through this site.

What the enquiry form collects

• the services you tick (for example an asbestos survey or removal)
• how big the job is
• your name
• your phone number
• your email address
• the first line of your address
• your postcode
• a description of the work you need doing

We also record that you ticked the consent box, and the address of the page you sent the form from.

What we do with it

Your enquiry is sent to Better Home Hub. We use it to find up to 3 local asbestos specialists who cover your area, such as surveyors, analysts or removal contractors, and ask them to contact you with a quote. We pass your details to those companies so they can contact you and find the property. Companies pay Better Home Hub a fee when it introduces them, so the service is free for you.

We rely on the consent you give when you tick the box on the form. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing us; that won't affect anything already done. We don't sell your details.

Once a specialist has your details, they are responsible for how they use them, under their own privacy notice.

Analytics

If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics records how the site is used. If you don't, it isn't loaded. See the cookie policy.

Who else handles it

Companies that host our website and systems and send our emails process data for us under contract. We keep your details only for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and to meet our legal and accounting obligations.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it or ask us to stop. Email support@betterhomehub.co.uk. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
