Who runs this site
About National Asbestos Removal Centre
An advice and introduction website run by Better Home Hub Ltd. We do not carry out asbestos work ourselves.
Who we are
National Asbestos Removal Centre is a website run by Better Home Hub Ltd, a company registered in England (company number 16605946). Our registered office is Unit A, 82 James Carter Road, Mildenhall, Bury St. Edmunds, England, IP28 7DE.
Better Home Hub runs a small network of home-improvement advice sites (see the other sites). When you send an enquiry from any of them, it goes to Better Home Hub, which tries to introduce you to a suitable specialist. Specialists we introduce may pay Better Home Hub a fee for the introduction. That is how this site is paid for; there is no charge to you for the introduction.
Any quote, contract or work is between you and the specialist. Please make your own checks before you hire anyone. Our guide to choosing a specialist explains how to check an HSE licence and a laboratory's UKAS accreditation.
What this site does
- Publishes plain-English guidance on asbestos surveys, testing, removal and safety, based on HSE guidance.
- Takes enquiries through one short form and passes them to Better Home Hub.
- Better Home Hub introduces you to a specialist who may be able to help, such as a surveyor, analyst or removal contractor.
What it does not do
- Carry out surveys, sampling, testing or removal. We are not a contractor.
- Hold an HSE asbestos licence, UKAS accreditation or any trade association membership.
- Act for the government, HSE or any regulator. "National" and "Centre" are part of the site name only.
- Guarantee prices, timescales or the quality of work by the specialists you are introduced to.
Where our guidance comes from
The regulator for asbestos at work in Great Britain is the Health and Safety Executive (HSE). Our pages summarise HSE guidance for homeowners, landlords and small property owners, and link to it. The guidance was last reviewed in September 2026. If anything here differs from HSE's asbestos pages, follow HSE.
